Sitting at the top of a winding driveway through fields of daffodils, Gossel Ridding is one of The Lake District's finest houses, built in 1908 by the owner's (TV producer Charlie Pattinson) great grandfather. The location is great, a short walk away from Bowness on Windermere, the design - breathtaking, oak carvings and glossy wooden floors mixed with crisp white linen furniture from B&B Italia.. The attention to detail from Teddie Pattinson who designed the interiors is perfect.

Choose to be serenaded in The Adam Room on the concert tuned grand piano or get cosy in the cinema room which is dark and sexy with hundreds of stylish films to choose from. The Billiard Room is perfect for entertaining, log fire, stunning white furniture and again, breathtaking views of the lake.

The Concierge service is the icing on the cake - from private chef, hire the local spa just for yourself, yoga classes, balloon rides from the lawn.. the choice is yours.
