Irelands newest 5 star hotel offers a glamorous and decadent experience...

This stunning hotel has been designed by international designer Philip Treacy in collaboration with Douglas Wallace, architects and interior designers. It offers a feast for the senses with beautiful use of colour and fabrics every where you look.

Service is second to non with a dedicated team of butlers ready to cater to your every whim! "Santini" is the delicious restaurant at the g, where a blend of formal and informal dishes are on offer. The finest crystal and silverware are used in the sumptuous surroundings.

The g’s cocktail bar is deliciously decadent. A carpet of thousands of red Swarovski crystals that adorns the bar, a distinctive feature and one that guarantees a glamorous start – or finish – to any evening.

The "Espa" spa mustn't be missed where guests are invited to re-connect with their senses through the gentle sounds of music and water, the fragrance of fresh flowers and scented candles, the grounding element of wood flooring, the patterns and textures of rich materials and the taste of a warming tisane.

The hotel has been recognised by Conde Nast Traveller as one of  the best new hotels in the world. Its inclusion in the Hot List 2006 serves to underline their commitment to the g as a truly unique hotel experience.

If you want to dress up and really go for it, this is it. Treacy has opted for catwalk-style carpets
with ankle-level lights throughout the hotel. It helps if you practise your sashay

The spa is fabulous and the staff are warm and friendly. After the initial physical attraction,
there is still a lot to love at The g.

The Hot List 06: 'g' stands for glamour and Galway, a city that until now had everything except a first-class hotel
to compete with overgrown Dublin. With its purple lights shimmering over an inlet of Galway Bay,
Monogram Hotel's flagship property is an act of faith in the imaginative powers of design director Philip Treacy.
